drumetii

Drumul Plutasilor Cabin has the great advantage of being located at the junction of some of the most important tourist areas in Moldavia: Mount Ceahlau, Bicaz Canyon, Bistrita Valley, the mountains of Calimani, Hasmas, Tarcau and Bistrita, and last but not least, the well-known monasteries from this region.

With our help, you will start your journey and easily reach the tourist attractions you wish to admire, explore or experience, without wasting any time on planning or orientation.

Here you will be able to watch the rare black goats and admire the fragile edelweiss from Ceahlau or Hasmas, row on Lacul Rosu (the Red Lake) through the ghostly trunks of trees, follow the footsteps on mountain tracks of classical Romanian writers and explorers, Ion Creanga and Calistrat Hogas or retrace some part of Vitoria Lipan’s journey (a well-known feminine character in our literature, the detective widow who found out the killers of her husband), marvel at the frescos in the monasteries painted by Grigorescu,Tonitza or Irineu Protcenco, taste the home-made sherbet, jams and syrups in the kitchen of the monasteries, visit the reservations of European wood bisons, rest in Mihai Eminescu’s (the best known Romanian poet) favourite places of solitude and inspiration, enjoy the places full of mystery of the Dacians, The Bicaz Dam, Stanca Dracului (The Devil’s Cliff), Neamt Citadel, Bicaz Canyon, the beautiful city of Piatra-Neamt and many other wonders.
